  • Proper cleansing

The amount of force one uses to cleanse the skin also matters as far as under skin acne is involved. A mild soap can be used alongside a suitable cleanser and this should be applied tenderly. However when selecting the soap to use you have to be keen on the amount of chemical used and the scent. Too much of this can bring more pain and reddening of the skin hence making the condition worse. As you apply the cleanser on the skin, do it with a soft touch as you use a well recommended soap. Follow a round pattern as you apply using the tips of your fingers. Wash this off totally with water and do it repeatedly every morning and evening.

  • Proper treatment  and medication

Aim at using low benzoyl peroxide content creams to treat the acne cysts and nodules. The strength of benzoyl peroxide makes the skin to have a burning feeling, alongside skin rind and further discomfort. Most people have however ignored this though it is important. Using creams that have high content of chemicals usually make the skin to reimburse the dryness by over-processing of the natural oil from underneath the skin. The acne is likely to disappear if one uses 2.5% of the ointment twice daily without causing further complications to the skin. This too should be done tenderly to avoid chemicals from depositing to the lower parts of the skin. Thereafter the skin should dry completely before you apply any other skin cosmetics. Benzoyl peroxide ointment should be applied twice daily after you have done some cleansing to your skin.

  • Proper moisturizing

The essence of a moisturizer after the benzoyl ointment is to make certain that skin softens, stretches and remains spotless. Moisturizers that do not have oil in them could be essential since they do not contain substances that can block the pores or wax. A limited number of moisturizers hold sunscreen that protects the skin from ultra violent rays during the day. The ones without sunscreen are usually essential during the night. This is applied in small amount gently after using benzoyl peroxide ointment.  Move the moisturizer smoothly using your fingertips until it is completely absorbed into the skin. Do this twice a day to keep your skin moistened.
